Nosy Pup · by dataloup · private test

Finds the people already asking for what you built — and hands you a reply you’d be proud to post.

He reads the internet so you don’t have to. Your next hundred users are already complaining about the problem you solved.

You built something good. Nobody knows it exists, and you’d rather write code than market. Meanwhile, every day, strangers describe your exact problem in public and ask if anything solves it — and none of them find you.

How it works

Four steps. Most of them his.

1

Paste your App Store link

Two minutes later you have a keyword list in your users’ words, not yours. You see every one before anything runs, and you delete the ones that are wrong.

2

He watches

Reddit, developer and enthusiast forums, Bluesky, your App Store reviews — in every language your app ships in.

3

A card lands on your phone

What they said, where, how long ago, and a reply written in your voice. One tap copies it. You post it yourself, from your own account.

4

The Trail shows what it earned

Every reply carries its own link. Bot clicks stripped. Your App Store downloads alongside, day by day. So you can see which replies did something and which didn’t.

He never posts as you

No credentials. No automation. No bot in your name.

He writes the draft; you read it and post it. That’s not a limitation we’re apologising for — it’s the only version of this that doesn’t get your account banned.

The part everyone gets wrong

Most people get banned on the first reply.

Not for being rude — for pitching to someone who didn’t ask.

So every draft goes up a ladder. Help first. Name the app only if they come back to you. A link only if they ask. The rules are enforced in the code, not left to good intentions.

🙋 ASKS THE ROOM Answer first, then name it. Highest intent you’ll see. 🪜 First reply — answer the question. No app name, no link.

Garmin’s told me to rest three days running and I feel completely fine. Do I trust the watch or my legs? Starting to think the readiness score is just noise.

✏️ Readiness scores are mostly resting HR and HRV trend, so they lag how you actually feel by a day or two — and they get dragged down by a late meal or a bad night’s sleep that has nothing to do with training. What I’d do: take your own pulse before you get up, three mornings running. If it’s within a few beats of normal and the legs are fine, train. If it’s up five or more and you feel flat, that’s the day to believe it.

First reply in a thread: no app name, no link. That’s the whole point.
Quiet by design

An empty queue is the correct answer most days.

1/90conversations worth replying to

In a sample of ninety conversations, one was worth replying to. He’s built to say no. Expect one to three cards a week, not a feed — and when a card does arrive, it’s because someone is actually asking.

“Anyone know a good gym in Denver?” is on topic. It is not a card.

Every language your app ships in

Anything you can’t read arrives with an English rendering of the post and of the draft.

No black box

Every keyword is yours to see and yours to delete before anything runs, and each one shows you where it came from. If there isn’t enough to go on, he says so instead of guessing.

He tells you when he’s broken

A heartbeat you can point a monitor at, and a Sunday message with the week’s numbers — found, worth replying to, replied, clicked.
